probably would have done much better if the controls were fixed

"anthro" or "anthropomorphism" is a style where animals are given human characteristics. It's most commonly used in children's cartoons and disgusting kinky porn. You don't see it used very often to appeal to a wide audience.
I'd say some people don't like this because it's a matter of personal taste, and the content may not appeal to them. These people may want a more serious storyline or a more believable setting. What really annoys me is people who say "I don't like it" and don't tell me why. How am I supposed to make improvements if I don't know what's wrong?
